Dr. Platt was born and raised in Huntington Beach, graduated from University of California at Irvine and then from the University of Pacific Dental School in 1985.
Early in his life he was one of the top distance runners in Orange County and later owned a flight school to teach aspiring fighter pilots.
He has received advanced training in orthodontics, endodontics and oral surgery, yet enjoys all aspects of dentistry and still practices general dentistry with the goal of treating all his patients like family members (yes, he loves his family!).
Dr. Platt has owned a traditional fee for service general dentistry practice for 20 years, and has worked as an associate in the AA Family Dental Group, a HMO/PPO office, in Tustin for 6 years. Dr Platt is also a certified quality assurance consultant for the California Association of Dental Plans.
In the past 6 years Dr. Platt has developed a special skill in providing Invisalign to his patients. Last year, Dr. Platt was recognized as one of the top 1-2% Invisalign providers in the world and received the "Premier Provider Award."
